Partnership between Starling and FreeAgent takes flight
Mobile bank Starling has joined forces with accounting software provider FreeAgent to streamline administration tasks for small businesses, reports Jane Connolly.
Starling’s 40,000 business banking customers will now be able to access cloud-based FreeAgent via the marketplace on Starling’s app – where they can already find accounting software provider Xero, small business insurance broker Zego and receipts and loyalty partners, Tail and Flux.
Customers can opt to have all transactions shared across both Starling and FreeAgent in real-time, to facilitate more informed decisions and the ability to sync up to a year’s worth of historic transactions.
“We’re building a unique and modern business bank that removes much of the stress and financial complexity typically associated with running your own company,” says Anne Boden, CEO and founder of Starling Bank. “FreeAgent will play an essential role in this by helping our business customers spend less time on administrative tasks and more on what counts, growing their business.”
A partnership with FreeAgent was reportedly one of the services most requested by Starling business account holders.
