Paidyou makes it easy to split house bills
Getting ready to hit the UK market is Paidyou, an upcoming bill-managing app that allows tenants and landlords to keep track of when bills are due and the amount, particularly in the cases of house-sharing.
“If like me you’ve ever shared a house with a group of others, you’ve probably experienced the real struggle of splitting bills and other expenses,” says the firm’s founder, Rachael Namiiro.
She states: “Having worked professionally in finance for 15 years, I found it more and more frustrating that there wasn’t already something to help establish transparency between housemates, so I decided to create PaidYou.”
The app, which is taking sign-ups for its early access, allows users to track shared expenses while keeping an eye on each personal one, personalising the way each tenant pays their bills.
For tenants, the app claims to be compatible with all service providers and payment methods, without extra administration costs and ensures accurate payment of bills.
For landlords, the app allows them to get regular tenant information to easily deal with unreliable renters and support their good quality residents.
The firm says landlords will be able to build tenant profiles based on timely bill payments, find out which companies supply their rental properties and manage their lettings portfolio.
