US challenger bank Newbridge will start spreading the news
New York-based Newbridge Bank is in a challenger state of mind as it prepares to fire up and secure a fintech fairy tale.
Based on Broadway, the start-up will be looking to make a grand entrance and a real show of its ambitions.
The bank says it will offer a transaction processing engine integrating businesses and their digital-native customers for banking services.
This will feature RESTful APIs, microservices, straight through processing (STP), robotic process automation (RPA), a fintech marketplace, and artificial intelligence (AI) powered personalisation.
Ed Boyle is Newbridge’s GM for blockchain and digital banking. He has plenty of experience – such as Fidor Bank, Blade Payments, Point Payments and American Express.
These are early days as Boyle is currently looking for a team – such as a CIO, CTO and CISO – to help launch the digital challenger and get into the New York groove.
FinTech Futures has contacted the bank to get more details on its ambitions.
