Money app Yolt launches open beta in Italy and France
ING-backed money app Yolt has unveiled its open beta for all iOS and Android users in both Italy and France.
This follows on from launches in Italy in September 2018 and France in October 2018 when users got exclusive early access. The beta launch for the UK was in June 2017.
Frank Jan Risseeuw, CEO, Yolt, praises the early bird users: “It’s their helpful feedback, suggestions and ideas that have allowed us to tweak Yolt and make it available for everyone across all three markets.”
The app lets users view their accounts, credit cards, pensions and investments in one place, allowing them to “unthink money”.
Yolt, a venture of ING Bank, was born in 2016 and created all its systems in-house from scratch.
Last week, we published an interview with Roderick Simons, CTO at Yolt. He gave us an insider’s view of what it’s like to build the app from the ground up.
