Bank Leumi UK opts for Volante’s open banking solution
Bank Leumi (UK) has selected Volante Technologies’ VolPay Open Banking solution to implement PSD2 compliance.
The bank will use the solution’s micro services based architecture, to integrate back office servicing applications, including payment engines and core banking account holding systems, with the front end API management layer.
Volante explains that it has a partnership with Token who provides PSD2 compliant APIs for VolPay.
Dhavarajh Frank, chief operating officer, Bank Leumi (UK), comments: “We looked for a solution that would enable PSD2 compliance quickly without having to make considerable changes to our systems and considered Volante and Token’s PSD2 compliant APIs a perfect one-stop-shop solution to provide this capability.”
Last year, Volante secured deals with FIMBank, Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB) UK and BNY Mellon.
Bank Leumi (UK) is part of the Bank Leumi Group, based in Israel. The latter was founded in 1902.
