HDFC Bank’s app upgrade goes sour
It has been nearly a week since Indian bank’s HDFC’s app went down, which has prevented many customers from logging into the app at all.
It seems like the issue lies with the new bank’s app, which means that users who are still using the old app are still unable to use mobile banking services normally, according to a statement by the bank.
Understandably, people aren’t too happy.
One day acceptable..but one week not acceptable..planning to move from HDFC..

For those who have made the “upgrade”, the bank suggests using other channels for its banking services, namely, NetBankng, PayZapp, PhoneBanking and Missed-Call Banking.
According to the bank, the new version of the app has been pulled down from the App Store and Play Store, and the old version will be restored today (4 December).
Flipkart co-founder Sachin Bansal has, among many other users, voiced on social media its grievances with India’s biggest lender by market value.
There are reports that NetBanking is not working either – this hasn’t been confirmed directly by the bank.
Even net banking is not working. Hope your ATMs don’t stop working.

It is unclear why the app has failed.
HDFC runs Flexcube for the corporate banking business, and Finware for retail.
Its omnichannel services are provided by Backbase, with ZineOne providing extra functionalities.
