Xena the warrior for crypto trading with $3m funding
Crypto-asset trading platform Xena Exchange has completed a $3 million Series A round of financing led by Klever Internet Investments.
The newly raised funds will be used for team expansion, marketing efforts, and product development.
Xena Exchange CEO Anton Kravchenko says its platform offers “unique features for professional traders, including positions and P&L calculation, high rebates for market makers, low latency trading, and trend analytics”.
He adds that these tools are set to be “bolstered by a professional desktop trading terminal and synthetic instruments by the end of the year”.
It was founded last year and the firm is officially based in Dublin. However, a look at its staff on LinkedIn reveals it is mostly made up of Russia-based personnel.
The company’s staff have experience of various investment banks such as JP Morgan, Deutsche Bank, and UBS.
In 2017, the company received its initial funding from unnamed angel investors to launch its operations, and has since built its trading platform.
