Startupbootcamp Scale Fintech calls for LatAm start-ups
Startupbootcamp Scale Fintech in Latin America is seeking the next batch of start-ups for its innovation programme.
The programme, a joint venture between Startupbootcamp and accelerator Finnovista, says applications are open until 10 December. You can do that here.
The call for action follows the end of its first cohort.
Christine Chang, programme director of Startupbootcamp Scale Fintech Mexico City, says: “The start-ups have registered a triple-digit increase across various metrics within their businesses since the beginning of the programme, due to the participation of 90 mentors, our partners and customised content.”
According to Startupbootcamp Scale Fintech, after six months, document analyser Expediente Azul, invoice discounting marketplace Facturedo, mobile app Pagamobil, and lendtech Quotanda improved their metrics in different areas and reported final results with triple-digit growth.
Pagamobil (Mexico) increased its user base by 100%; while Expediente Azul’s (Mexico) sales volume grew by 400%.
In addition, Facturedo (Chile, Peru and Mexico) boosted a 600% increase in financed volume per quarter; while Quotanda (Mexico) increased the number of monthly loans from the beginning of the programme by 350%.
Startupbootcamp Scale Fintech says by focusing on seed-funded companies with validated business models, the programme is designed to help founders tackle the many challenges related to scaling their technology business.
It adds that a particular emphasis will be placed on increasing revenues through targeted access to industry partners.
