Core banking platform Leveris pulls in investment
Link Asset Services has invested in Ireland-headquartered core banking platform Leveris.
Leveris has developed a platform for lending, deposit taking, card issuance and digital channel design.
While financial details were not disclosed, Link says the Leveris platform will help it expand the “addressable market of its banking and credit management business by opening up growing outsourcing opportunities”.
Leveris’ founder and CEO, Conor Fennelly, says Link is the “largest independent debt servicer in Europe and has a deep knowledge of the lending and loan administration industry”.
Back in March, Bondster Marketplace, a new peer-to-peer (P2P) investment platform in the Czech Republic, implemented Leveris‘ core processing platform.
This was Leveris’ first known customer, FinTech Futures understands.
Leveris has roots in the country – its development team was behind the creation of Air Bank in the Czech Republic. Air Bank, now part of the PPF Group, was set up in 2011 to be “the first bank people can like”. Good luck with that.
Leveris was set up in 2014. As reported in December 2016, Leveris was looking to raise €15 million for its business.
