Startupbootcamp’s InsurTech Accelerator opens doors to applicants
Startupbootcamp’s InsurTech Accelerator, part of Hartford InsurTech Hub, has opened applications for the second year of its accelerator programme.
The accelerator is looking for insurance technology start-ups with proven strong initial traction seeking to connect with large US companies.
Last year’s accelerator resulted in a series of insurtech start-ups achieving deals with large US insurance companies. Some examples are Aureus Analytics, Boundlss, Rozie AI, and SecureHome.
Sabine VanderLinden, CEO of Startupbootcamp InsurTech, says: “The technologies that emerge have the ability to transform an entire insurance company and shape the business models of the future.
“As the value chain of insurance is gradually being reconfigured, we want to be at the centre of this transformation by facilitating the right sets of engagement and collaboration between start-ups and insurers.”
The three-month duration will see ten selected start-ups relocate to Hartford, Connecticut, and join Startupbootcamp’s network of insurance companies, investors, and industry expert mentors.
Applications will close on 30 September 2018. If you’re an insurtech start-up and this tickles your fancy, apply here.
