MBT Bank outsources core banking tech to Jack Henry
MBT Bank, an Iowa-based bank with $340 million in assets, is implementing new core and digital banking software supplied by domestic vendor Jack Henry & Associates.
The solutions – Silverlake (core banking) and Banno (online and mobile channels) – will be provided on a hosted basis by JHA OutLink Processing Services (JHA OPS).
“When the time came for a core review, MBT Bank worked with a third-party consultant to identify the platform that could best boost process efficiency, facilitate a modern, convenient customer experience, and allow them to nimbly add features and functionalities as needed,” Jack Henry explains.
“Ultimately, the Silverlake platform was selected for its ability to meet these needs with high levels of flexibility and integration.”
The vendor adds that its “strong collaboration and partnership with banks, and its exceptional corporate culture” contributed to winning the deal.
Dennis Busta, president and CEO of MBT Bank, says Jack Henry “is committed to core innovation” and hopes the new tech will help the bank “adapt to the changing banking landscape”.
