Barclays digital banking goes down
Barclays has reported that it was experiencing problems on its online banking services this morning (10 July), although the extent of these glitches is still unknown.
The Barclays UK Help Twitter account says “they have faced issues this morning”, with repeated instances of users complaining about being unable to log in through the online banking platform.
As you can see below, the account advises users to reset several settings on their browser of choice, like the cache. Just so we’re clear, although it might work, this is not an acceptable solution to the problem.
Hi Alice, we’ve faced a few issues this morning, apologies. Would you try clearing your cache, cookies and temporary internet files and make sure you go to barclays .co .uk (without spaces) in the address bar and not through a bookmark or search engine please. Jay

On that note, FinTech Futures reported today that TSB is also experiencing some other technical problems.
