VPBank vavooms with new digital credit card
Vietnam Prosperity Bank’s (VPBank) consumer finance division, FE Credit, has launched MPlus+, a digital credit card for quick deliveries.
The solution allows card holders to go cashless before the physical card is delivered. FE Credit says this is an extension to its existing range of physical card products focused on “category entrants”.
FE Credit explains this is being issued to first time card users across Vietnam, where cardholders in “far-flung provinces” sometimes receive the physical card almost 15 days post approval.
To bridge this, the solution “MPlus+ Card” is delivered to the cardholder’s registered mobile upon card approval. MPlus+ enables cardholders to commence their cashless journey for e-commerce and card not present transactions.
Nimish Dwivedi, credit card business centre director of FE Credit, says customers seek “immediate gratification; hence MPlus+ Card”.
FE Credit says it provides services such as personal loans, two-wheeler loans, consumer durable loans and credit cards. It has served nearly seven million customers, co-operating with 7,000 partners across 11,000 POS nationwide.
