TSYS teams with 118 118 Money for UK credit card programme
US payments firm TSYS has signed an agreement with 118 118 Money to support the UK lender’s new consumer credit card programme.
118 118 Money is adding a credit card product to complement its existing loan products and chose TSYS to help bring this product to market. In addition to card processing services, TSYS will also provide customer service support and fraud and risk management services.
James Poole, chief marketing officer at 118 118 Money, says: “The launch of the 118 118 Money Card signals a move from the brand to update its product offering to account for the needs of the digitally-savvy generation.”
Terms of the long-term agreement were not released.
TYSY is based in Georgia (US) and has approximately 12,000 “team members” and local offices across 13 countries. It generated revenue of $4.9 billion in 2017, and processed more than 27.8 billion transactions.
118 118 Money was launched in 2013 and offers an unsecured personal loan product. It says it has helped over 100,000 UK customers so far.
