Four Finastra’s a jolly good fintech fellow
Finastra has put its party hat on, cracked open the champagne, and is frolicking in the fields of fintech as it welcomes four early adopters to its FusionFabric.cloud open platform.
US-based firms Tradle, Conversation.one, Active Allocator and GreenPoint Financial, are on board to design and create apps on the platform.
Natalie Gammon, chief cloud officer at Finastra, and currently residing on our earthly plane, says FusionFabric.cloud does more than just open access to APIs in specific business lines as the firm has “opened up all” of its core systems.
The idea is to offer fintechs and developers the chance to build apps quickly and bring them to market faster.
California-based Conversation.one provides a solution for voice banking and chat used by banks and credit unions.
Rachel Batish, CRO and co-founder at Conversation.one, explains that the platform gives it access to more than 9,000 financial institutions.
Tradle, a New York-based firm providing know your customer (KYC) solutions via blockchain, plans to use the FusionFabric.cloud platform to integrate its KYC capabilities with Finastra’s retail and corporate banking solutions.
Active Allocator, also based in New York, is a digital asset allocation platform that helps investors analyse existing allocations and create bespoke solutions. It will extend its asset allocation app to integrate with Finastra’s Fusion Invest software.
Staying on the NYC theme, New York-based GreenPoint Financial provides regulatory implementation solutions for banks and insurance companies.
I guess you could say they are all on cloud four. Cloud nine may come later.
