More API success in Portugal for PaymentComponents and Infosistema
PaymentComponents and Infosistema have welcomed another Portugal-based bank to their API management framework.
Quickly following the successful news on 10 April, the latest addition to their AplonAPI is Caixa de Crédito Agrícola Mútuo da Chamusca (Chamusca Mutual Agricultural Credit Fund).
The bank will use AplonAPI to power its PSD2 compliance and open banking project.
According to PaymentComponents, AplonAPI is “tailor-made for the financial services sector, with unparalleled open architecture”.
Caixa de Credito Agrícola da Chamusca is a regional bank and started its activity in Portugal in 1929.
Infosistema is part of JOYN, an international group of IT companies with over 20 years of experience, and with projects in more than nine countries.
From Greece to Portugal
UK-based PaymentComponents has been keeping busy.
Last month, it revealed that AplonAPI will be integrated with Greek firm Natech’s core banking solution, CSB2.
In February, PaymentComponents become a member of London-based tech hub Level39, and moved the location of its office to Canary Wharf. It joins a lively community – we know as we visited the place.
While in January, PaymentComponents and Infosistema reported that another Portuguese bank, Banco BAI Europa, selected AplonAPI to power its PSD2 compliance and open banking project.
