DVAG and FinLeap in dynamic Germanic digital duet
Independent financial advisor Deutsche Vermögensberatung (DVAG) and fintech company builder FinLeap have founded Deutsche Fintech Solutions.
The joint venture is developing a digital tool that supports DVAG investment advisers with “time-consuming tasks”, such as analysis and long-term customer care.
Whilst building the tool, the IT staff will be supported by DVAG sales personnel, “who can tailor the tool to the requirements of the bancassurance service provider”. DVAG has around six million customers.
“Our goal is to combine the empathy and expertise of financial advisors with artificial intelligence (AI) and put the results at the service of customers,” says Christian Glanz, who is responsible for IT on the DVAG board of management.
The management of Deutsche Fintech Solutions will consist of Reiner Neusser and Vincent Ma. Neusser previously managed the business of clearing house Deutsche Verrechnungsstelle. Ma previously worked as director of banking at financial comparison firm Verivox Finanzvergleich.
Berlin-based FinLeap was founded in 2014 by HitFox Group and Ramin Niroumand. FinLeap says it has developed 14 ventures with its technical infrastructure.
These ventures include B2B companies such as solarisBank, account switching service provider FinReach, and B2C companies such as Clark, a digital insurance broker.
