PSCU’s a high achiever with Achieva Credit Union return
PSCU, a Florida-based credit union service organisation (CUSO), has welcomed one of its founding credit unions back to its cooperative.
Achieva Credit Union, also based in Florida, has picked PSCU to provide in-house credit and debit processing support, ATM terminal driving and bill pay solutions for its 150,000 members.
“After considering numerous other options, we determined PSCU’s services and offerings to be the best fit for Achieva’s needs, and we have always been impressed with the level of service and relationship building PSCU brings to the table,” says John Wintermeier, SVP, chief information officer of Achieva.
Scott Wagner, PSCU EVP and chief revenue officer, adds that it’s “pleased to welcome Achieva Credit Union back to the PSCU cooperative as it was one of our original founding credit unions back when it was known as Pinellas County Teachers Credit Union”.
The multiyear agreement between Achieva and PSCU was finalised in Q4 of 2017. Implementation and onboarding are in progress.
Achieva was founded in 1937 with $99.25 and seven charter members. It’s moved on a bit as it now has 400+ employees, 23 branches throughout ten counties and over $1.5 billion in assets.
PSCU, headquartered in St. Petersburg (the less famous one), was founded in 1977. It supports nearly 900 owner credit unions representing 20.4 million accounts.
