Kony brings digital magic to Partners Federal CU revamp
California-based Partners Federal Credit Union (FCU) has chosen enterprise application firm Kony for its “Digital 2x” initiative.
Partners FCU has been the exclusive credit union of the Walt Disney Company for the past 50 years, and has 150,000 members and their families. As you’d expect it makes a big deal out of this.
Its new initiative, working with Kony and the Boston Consulting Group, will overhaul its digital banking services.
Kony says while offerings such as person-to-person payments and budgeting tools are on the Partners FCU roadmap, “the pace of delivery was not meeting members’ needs”.
There aren’t a lot of specifics, but Kony will help with digital and physical channels and as the name suggests “Digital 2x” will speed it all up.
John Janclaes, president and CEO, Partners Federal Credit Union, with a nod to the world of movie magic, adds that it wants to “make all financial dreams come true for our cast members”. He was probably wearing a top hat and whistling as he said it.
Partners FCU will also “document its journey in a five-part documentary series highlighting key milestones in the credit union’s digital evolution”.
Will Walt Disney turn it into a saccharine sweet animation? We’ll find out later. Any good titles? How about Ploy Story or Beauty and the Increased or Merry Hoppings? Put your ideas in the comments box below.
We’ll end this report here as Walt Disney loved a happy ending.
