Microsoft and Commerzbank head into #openspace for German SMEs
Microsoft Deutschland and Commerzbank’s subsidiary #openspace will start working together this month as they target SMEs in Germany.
As reported last year (to this very day), Commerzbank developed its first digitalisation platform, called “#openspace”, and located in Berlin-Schöneberg. It offers long-term co-operation between SMEs, “innovation partners”, and start-ups with the objective of “tackling the challenges posed by the digital future together”.
In the latest deal, Microsoft experts will get involved in the various #openspace formats for the development of new business models. According to Commerzbank, this expands the product portfolio of #openspace and offers idea generation, business model testing and the implementation of digital business models.
Holger Werner, CEO of #openspace, says by working with Microsoft it can offer customers the “full range of digital transformation support services”.
There will also be expansion for #openspace as in Q1 2018 it will start operating in Stuttgart and Cologne, with Microsoft integrated in all locations.
