Featurespace now features new CFO
Featurespace, a machine learning company for fraud prevention, is starting off the new year with a new chief financial officer – Jonathan Crossfield, reports David Penn at Finovate (FinTech Futures’ sister company).
Crossfield comes to Featurespace after serving as a partner at Oakhall, a consultancy firm where he performed market analysis, financial modelling, fundraising and business development for privately-held technology companies.
Trained as a chartered accountant with Deloitte, Crossfield was an equity research analyst for Bank of America Merrill Lynch for more than seven years, and a technology analyst at Cazenove for four years. He is also currently financial advisor for London-based data centre, Aegis Data.
Founded in 2008 and headquartered in Cambridgeshire, UK, Featurespace offers its ARIC Fraud Manager platform. This was developed at the University of Cambridge to distinguish legitimate activity from anomalous behaviour in real time.
The company’s customers include Vocalink/Zapp, William Hill and TSYS. Featurespace’s technology has been deployed with organisations that operate in more than 180 countries. The company has raised more than $38 million in funding and includes Highland Europe and TTV Capital among its investors.
