Come Dime with me for Fiserv‘s core banking DNA
US-based Dime Community Bank is revamping its systems by using the real-time core platform and digital banking solutions from Fiserv.
Dime plans to use this technology to “tailor” its services to the needs of business, retail and commercial customers. In 2014, Dime started on a path to change its business by adding branches, launching new digital channels and establishing new commercial lending services.
According to Dime, Fiserv will provide integrated solutions that remove the need for staff to log into separate systems or manually gather data from independent information silos.
By using DNA from Fiserv, Dime will gain access to real-time account processing capabilities, along with a set of digital banking solutions. This includes Commercial Center for commercial and small business banking, and Architect for mobile, tablet and desktop banking.
Dime will also be using solutions to upgrade its fraud protection, replace branch capture with a more “efficient” solution, and add wire transfer and document management to support its commercial and industrial business.
Tim Lenhoff, EVP and CTO at Dime Community Bank, says: “We anticipate being able to streamline or eliminate a substantial number of manual processes.”
Fiserv says more than one-third of US financial institutions use it for account processing.
Others in the US include Amplify Credit Union, Montana Health Federal Credit Union, Port Conneaut Federal Credit Union and Southwest Oklahoma Federal Credit Union. And outside the US, Cyprus-based Hellenic Bank.
