New online banking platform for AmeriChoice FCU
Pennsylvania-based AmeriChoice Federal Credit Union has launched a new online banking platform based on the Symmetry e-banking software from Wescom Resources Group (WRG).
AmeriChoice FCU is a full-service, member-owned, not-for-profit financial institution. It has $170 million in assets and 15,000 members.
The credit union went to market last year to find a replacement for its legacy solution. The project with WRG commenced in September.
WRG also installed a new personal finance management (PFM) system, powered by Geezeo and branded as “Focus” by the credit union, for users to moderate budgets, cash flow and goals.
At the back-end, Symmetry integrates with the credit union’s core processing system from Symitar (a Jack Henry company).
“We’re very happy with the new platform,” states Anna May Nauss, president and CEO of AmeriChoice FCU. “The conversion process from last summer to launch went well. The transition was very smooth.”
Roger Lange, the credit union’s CIO, adds: “What do members like about the new system? Everything.
“Member experience feedback on the intuitive member interface has been great. We continue to receive very positive comments.”
WRG is a credit union service organisation (CUSO) owned by Wescom Credit Union, one of the largest credit unions in the US ($3.2 billion in assets and 200,000+ members).
WRG provides software and services to around 200 credit unions.
