BankBI gains first US customer, Our Community Credit Union
Our Community Credit Union (OCCU), a $328 million institution in the US state of Washington, has selected BankBI’s financial and banking performance software.
The solution is deployed in the Microsoft Azure cloud.
This is the first US credit union to have signed for BankBI’s business intelligence and analytics software.
OCCU uses OnApproach M360, a data warehouse solution from OnApproach, a US-based credit union service organisation (CUSO). Thus, “selecting the pre-integrated BankBI solution for financial and banking performance made a lot of sense from a time-to-value perspective”, comments Ryan Drake, OCCU’s CFO.
“We are looking forward to our upgrade to the latest M360 version and to see the potential of the data warehouse unlocked via the BankBI solution.”
He adds: “It’s great to see the partner ecosystem working so well at OnApproach to bring value to OCCU via the BankBI application.”
OCCU, formerly Simpson Employees Federal Credit Union, was set up in 1941. It has 27,000+ members and operates seven branches.
UK-based BankBI was launched in 2013 by two ex-Temenos employees, Graham Goble and Keith Waterman. The company is based in Bracknell, Berkshire.
It says it now has 50+ banks, microfinance institutions and credit unions in over 40 countries as customers. Among these are Premier Credit in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania, and Tandia in Canada.
