The National Bank in Palestine live with Temenos T24 core banking system
Palestine-based The National Bank (TNB) has gone live with Temenos’ T24 core banking platform. The project has been underway since 2014, Banking Technology understands.
TNB says it is “the first indigenous bank in Palestine to roll out the Temenos system”.
It also adds it “managed to successfully launch the system in record time compared to other regional and international banks”.
TNB has purchased a range of modules including retail, corporate, treasury and capital markets, private banking and wealth management, securities, CRM, business and financial intelligence, and Fatca, plus the interfaces such as Swift, ATM and Reuters.
TNB also signed for the vendor’s online and mobile banking platform, Temenos Connect.
Ahmad Hajhasan, CEO of TNB, compliments the country’s regulator, Palestine Monetary Authority, for its “continued support and supervision to ensure a smooth and effective transfer between core banking systems”.
Last month, another Palestinian bank – SAFA Bank – went live on T24.
