Mizuho Bank Nederland live with new risk and reg reporting system, OneSumX
Wolters Kluwer has implemented its flagship OneSumX solution at Mizuho Bank’s subsidiary in the Netherlands. The solution supports risk calculations and multi-country regulatory reporting.
The implementation is the extension of the existing relationship between the two companies – the bank is Wolters Kluwer’s customer across a number of European countries.
“Mizuho Bank needed a leading solution to ensure its regulatory obligations for the Netherlands, Belgium and Austria are managed comprehensively – Wolters Kluwer provides this,” comments Jens Pöhland, MD and CRO at Mizuho Bank Nederland.
The country’s central bank, De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB) now requires institutions under its jurisdiction to produce financial reports in Extensible Business Reporting Language (XBRL), a global standard for exchanging business information. Pöhland adds that Mizuho is relying on the Wolters Kluwer expertise to handle the change.
