Digital agency Degree 53 builds mobile apps for CardOneBanking
CardOneBanking, a UK-based current accounts and payments services provider, has launched new mobile banking apps built by Degree 53.
The apps are available on iOS and Android phones, says the developer, and “complement” the online services for personal and business account holders of CardOneBanking.
The apps enable users to manage their funds, view account and card information, track payments, set up standing orders, view direct debits and their transaction history.
Adam Rigler, MD at CardOneBanking, says the company “wanted to offer an easier way of accessing our banking services”. The resultant product is “robust, user friendly and looks good”, he adds.
Of standout features there is “fast balance” – which enables users to check funds without logging into the app.
CardOneBanking can also now send push notifications and messages such as transactions updates or product promotions.
CardOneBanking is an independent, FCA authorised company that offers an alternative to a high street bank account for individuals and SMEs. “With no credit checks, no branch visits or signatures required, we open accounts more quickly and with less fuss than the high street banks,” it says.
The company was set up in 2007 and says it has opened 80,000 accounts and processed over £3 billion of customer’s money to date.
The technology behind it is provided by Payment Spectrum Services.
Manchester-based digital agency Degree 53 has The Co-Operative Bank and Fideliti, a specialist provider of childcare vouchers, on its customer list.
