Trading Technologies launches new platform in Australian Liquidity Centre
The Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) says Trading Technologies International (TT) has launched its new trading platform in the Australian Liquidity Centre (ALC).
David Raper, executive general manager trading services at ASX, says TT’s new platform will provide the community with an “innovative means” to access derivatives products on the Australian market.
Customers of TT will have access to the new platform through ASX’s point-to-point fibre network – ASX Net. ASX Net allows customers to “consolidate their access” to ASX and third party services such as the TT platform across the “same high availability infrastructure”.
TT says it develops and delivers trading software for a wide variety of users including proprietary traders, brokers, money managers, commodity trading advisors (CTAs), hedge funds, and commercial hedgers and risk managers. TT provides access to 45 international exchanges and liquidity platforms.
ASX says there are currently more than 100 customers at the ALC, including international investment banks, Australian brokers, market makers, proprietary firms as well as data vendors, software and system vendors, and all major telecom carriers.
