Union Bank of Philippines picks D+H for cash management services
Union Bank of the Philippines has chosen US-based D+H Corporation’s suite of cash management solutions.
The bank¸ which provides products and services to more than 7,000 corporate clients, has embarked on a “major transformation” of its cash management services business and wanted to simplify its IT environment.
John Ong, head of transaction banking, Union Bank of the Philippines, says it is “vital that we can provide them with the most up-to-date and in-demand treasury tools”.
D+H will provide a suite of treasury management solutions, including payments, collections, balance transaction reporting, liquidity management, cash flow forecasting, and financial supply chain capabilities.
Come on feel the noise
Recently, D+H joined its rivals FIS and Jack Henry in partnering with The Clearing House (TCH) for real-time payments in the US.
D+H also made optimistic noises over its Global Transaction Banking Solution (GTBS) unit in its financial results. The vendor claims to have “won a majority of payment hub RFPs” as well as “surpassed the Fundtech [now GTBS] backlog record” in generating revenue from the existing projects.
