Banking Technology Awards 2016 issues call for entries
Entries are now open for the prestigious Banking Technology Awards – the premier event recognising excellence in the use of technology in banking and financial services, strive for innovation, and professional contribution to the industry’s betterment.

- A comprehensive list of categories to laud the best of the best across a broad range of IT projects at banks and financial institutions
- Open to industry participants worldwide
- A new Woman In Technology (W.I.T.) Award launched together with FemTechLeaders, a global gender diversity and inclusion organisation
- The winners to be unveiled at a gala dinner on 1 December 2016

Vendors are welcome to put an entry in on behalf of a bank or financial institution with their approval.

The winners will be announced at a gala dinner on 1 December 2016 at the Tower Hotel in London.
New Categories
For 2016 we have revamped the category listing to reflect the changes and acknowledge the innovation happening across the industry.
Several new categories have been introduced including Top Digital Innovation, Best use of Cloud Software/Services and Best Data Related Initiative.

The Woman In Technology (W.I.T.) Award
New for 2016, Banking Technology and FemTechLeaders, a global gender diversity and inclusion organisation, have joined forces to launch the Woman In Technology (W.I.T.) Award.
The W.I.T. Award will showcase the best in leadership, inspiration, vision, execution – and most importantly – collaboration. The women nominated for this award are distinguished leaders in the charge to change financial services for the better through technology.
Andreasyan says: “This industry is better for including diverse voices, perspectives, experience and approaches. Through embracing diversity, we can bring a new wealth of creativity to tackling the challenges our industry faces; through collaboration, we can create better solutions.”
