People on the Move: Diane Faro, JetPay
Payments solutions provider JetPay Corp. has appointed Diane Faro to its board of directors. Faro has more than 30 years of experience in the payments industry and currently serves as president of National Benefit Programs, a provider of discounted business services, as well as a private consultant to the payments industry. Previously, she served as president of global merchant services at First Data Corp. From 1997 to 2002, she was the CEO of Chase Merchant Services. Faro previously has held board positions at two ISOs and the Electronic Transaction Association (ETA), along with serving as ETA’s president for the 2004-2005 term. She is one of the founding members of the Women’s Networking in Electronic Transactions, which offers women in the payments industry a place to network and find mentors.
Faro was nominated to the JetPay board to replace an open board seat created by the departure of Arthur Ryan, who resigned in October 2013.
