Broadridge launches global solutions partner programme
Broadridge Financial Solutions has launched a new solutions partner programme to enable consulting, technology and servicing firms to offer technology solutions.
Partner firms will get access to solutions across wealth management, asset management, capital markets and corporate issuer segments; and a set of sales enablement resources, technical training services and a financial benefits package.
Ira Newman, vice-president, alliances and channels, strategic solutions, at Broadridge, will lead the programme.
Newman, who has been at Broadridge since August 2015, has two decades of experience in technology, consulting and channel sales within financial services.
Prior to Broadridge he spent seven years at Informatica Software, where he was responsible for managing the company’s North American partner business. He has also held senior roles at PricewaterhouseCoopers, CA Technologies and EMC Consulting.
Building bridges
Broadridge was also recently involved in three separate deals.
Monex, one of Japan’s largest online trading brokers, announced it was deploying Broadridge’s JASDEC (Japan Securities Depository Centre, Inc) Processing Solution for its domestic equity and investment trust processing business.
Broadridge took a minority stake and entered into an exclusive distribution and marketing alliance with Netherlands-based management consulting firm AMA Partners.
AMA provides DirectorInsight, a platform offering data and analytical tools for the evaluation of corporate governance and executive compensation.
New York-based Digital Asset Holdings, a developer of distributed ledger technology (aka blockchain), also teamed up with Accenture, Broadridge and PwC.
Broadridge will provide the resources to identify, develop and drive adoption of “innovative” business use cases. Digital Asset will be able to use Broadridge’s post-trade managed services, infrastructure and cyber security capabilities.
