People on the Move: Joseph Podulka, Rob Freedman and Pawan Chawla, Emergent Payments
Emergent Payments, a global payments company enabling digital businesses to accept more than 200 secure payment methods, recently has added executives to its senior leadership. The additions include Joseph Podulka, CFO; Rob Freedman, business development director; and Pawan Chawla, vice president merchant solutions and strategy.
Podulka is an eBay veteran, previously serving in roles as head of finance for PayPal New Ventures and
PayPal Europe. Most recently, he was CFO and vice president of finance at Hearst Corp., parent company of the San Francisco Chronicle and SFGate.com.
Freedman, who brings a wealth of new business sales experience with digital ecommerce for enterprise customers, was previously business development manager at Worldpay.
Chawla was previously senior director, merchant integration/technical account management at Visa. He has experience in technology integration, solutions architecture, digital commerce and global payments.
