People on the Move: Jay Shipowitz, Back on My Feet Board
Back on My Feet, a nonprofit organization that promotes the self-sufficiency of people experiencing homelessness by engaging them in running, has named Jay Shipowitz, CEO of ACE Cash Express, the new chairman of its national board of directors. Since its inception in 2007, Back on My Feet has helped more than 4,600 individuals, aiding 1,661 members in gaining employment, 1,174 members in obtaining housing and 1,168 members in enrolling in school and job-training courses.
