People on the Move: Brad Fauss, Brian Tate, NBPCA
The NBPCA has hired Brad Fauss as its executive vice president and general counsel. Fauss, who has more than 20 years of legal experience, most recently served as executive vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary at prepaid program manager Brightwell Payments Inc., while acting as a board member of the NPBCA. In his new role, he will work full-time as part of the NBPCA’s in-house management team. “Brad is a well-respected attorney with extensive knowledge of the regulatory and legal issues facing prepaid businesses,” said Doug Bower, NBPCA president and executive director. “He has been heavily involved with the NBPCA over the past decade, including his tenure as vice chair of the board this past year. He is incredibly well-suited to help steer the association going forward.”
The NBPCA also has promoted Brian Tate to vice president, government relations. Tate joined the NBPCA in 2013, with the responsibility for establishing a government relations function in Washington, D.C. “Brian has done a terrific job of leading our efforts to build relationships and educate our leaders in D.C. on the positive attributes of prepaid cards,” said Bower.
