Senate Banking Committee Chairman Richard Shelby (R-Ala.) has announced the incoming chairs of the Senate Banking Committee’s subcommittees. Sen. Mike Crapo (R-Idaho) will chair the Securities, Insurance and Investment subcommittee. Sen. Tim Scott (R.-S.C.) will chair the Housing, Transportation and Community Development subcommittee. Sen. Patrick Toomey (R.-Pa.) will chair the Financial Institutions and Consumer Protection subcommittee. Sen. Dean Heller (R.-Nev.) will chair the Economic Policy subcommittee. Sen. Mark Kirk (R.-Ill.) will chair the National Security and International Trade and Finance subcommittee.
