People on the Move: Leandra English, Agnes Bundy Scanlan, Jeffrey Sumberg, CFPB
The CFPB has announced the three new additions to its senior leadership team. Leandra English will serve as the CFPB’s deputy chief operating officer. English previously served as a senior adviser and chief of staff to the Office of Management and Budget’s deputy director of management. Before joining the OMB, English helped launch the CFPB, working in several senior leadership roles, including deputy chief of staff. Agnes Bundy Scanlan will serve as the CFPB’s Northeast regional director of supervision examinations. She previously worked as a senior risk adviser at Treliant Risk Advisors and as chief compliance officer at TD Bank. Jeffrey Sumberg will serve as the CFPB’s chief human capital officer. Sumberg previously worked as a senior leader in the human capital practice of Deloitte Consulting and as a senior executive with the U.S. Office of Personnel Management, where he directed human capital programs.
