People on the Move: Marla Blow, Fenway Summer LLC
Marla Blow has left the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau to serve as CEO of Fenway Summer’s credit card venture. Fenway Summer LLC is a Washington, D.C.-based advisory and venture capital firm. Founder and Managing Director of Fenway Raj Date also used to work at the CFPB as deputy director.
Blow spent three years at the CFPB, where she was assistant director of card and payment markets. Prior to joining the CFPB, Blow spent seven years in a variety of functions at Capital One, including as a business director within the company’s credit risk management division, where she was responsible for completing the quarterly credit loss forecast on Capital One’s North American credit card portfolio.
