Sequent Software, a Redwood City, Calif.-based Trusted Service Manager software and services platform provider, announced that Lance Johnson has joined the executive team as chief security officer. He will lead development and deployment of the company’s risk management and mobile-payment security technologies. Johnson has more than 20 years of service at Visa, where he served as senior vice president, directing Visa’s efforts in global risk management and security, among other duties. He also is a founding member of the executive committee and board of managers of the PCI Security Standards Council.
