Cennox acquires Diebold UK & Ireland business
As a result of the ruling of the UK’s Competitions and Markets Authority (CMA), Diebold Nixdorf is shedding some of its business. Diebold UK & Ireland has been sold to Cennox.
The ruling follows Diebold’s acquisition of Wincor Nixdorf in 2016, creating the world’s largest ATM company.
All the UK employees of Diebold will join Cennox and John Ennis, the current MD, will become MD of Cennox UK.
Clive Nation, CEO of Cennox, describes the deal as “hugely exciting”.
The company says it will be visiting all customers and releasing product specific announcements in the coming weeks.
Cennox was founded in 2004 and is based in Camberley, Surrey. It specialises in ATM and branch technology, and operates in the UK and the US.
