Greater Wyoming FCU outsources core, digital and cards tech to Fiserv
Greater Wyoming Federal Credit Union has ditched its incumbent core software provider for Fiserv. The credit union has implemented Fiserv’s Portico core processing and digital banking system on a hosted basis.
The Portico suite includes online and mobile banking, lending automation, accounting, asset liability and call report management, and e-statements.
Greater Wyoming FCU already has an established relationship with Fiserv for debit and credit card processing.
“The availability of integrated digital banking capabilities was a significant factor in our decision to move to Fiserv,” explains Elizabeth Stetz, president and CEO, Greater Wyoming FCU.
“We want to provide a robust digital banking experience to our members, many of whom live far from a branch, yet we also need solutions that are easy for our staff to manage.”
Greater Wyoming FCU was founded in 1953. It has $23 million in assets and 3,000 members.
Fiserv’s Portico is a long-standing solution for smaller credit unions in the US, with customers including First Oklahoma FCU, Green Country FCU and Encentus FCU in Oklahoma, and Brazosport Teachers FCU in Texas.
