Symitar Ease hosted core platform gains two new takers
VA Desert Pacific Federal Credit Union and East Idaho Credit Union have entrusted their core processing operations to Symitar Ease, supplied by Jack Henry’s subsidiary Symitar.
Symitar Ease is an outsourced version of Symitar’s Episys core banking system.
The vendor says the two credit unions opted for a hosted model “to eliminate the need to manage hardware maintenance and upgrades”.
VA Desert Pacific FCU, a $70 million institution in California, “wanted a core partner with more functionality than its previous provider was able to offer”, according to Symitar.
East Idaho CU, a $260 million credit union based in Idaho, was looking for a core provider to help it grow. Symitar Ease was selected after “an extensive search”, the vendor says.
Don West, vice-president of IT at East Idaho CU, comments: “With Symitar, the sky is the limit.”
Both credit unions are also implementing other products of Jack Henry, including the Advanced Reporting for Credit Unions (ARCU) solution.
