Accenture opens innovation studio in Latvia
Accenture’s liquid studio
Accenture has opened a “liquid studio” in Riga, Latvia to help its clients with innovation and software development cycles.
At the studio, its clients don’t get wet or drunk but work alongside Accenture engineers to turn concepts into products, “taking days to achieve what used to take months”.
Maksims Jegorovs, Accenture Latvia lead, says clients take part in “intensive working groups to see how prototypes impact their specific business needs and evaluate the effectiveness of new products and services”.
The studio has capabilities in the internet of things (IoT), cloud, blockchain, immersive experiences and emerging technologies.
Accenture also has liquid studios in Silicon Valley, Paris, Nantes (France), Kronberg (Germany), Milan and London. It plans to open more this year but offers no specifics.
Last month, Accenture said it will acquire German digital agency SinnerSchrader to boost its Accenture Interactive services in the country; and launch ten new innovation hubs in the US in the next three years.
