Smooth Commerce and Visa first in Canada for Visa Developer Programme

Smooth Commerce and Visa have completed the first integration of Visa’s Developer Programme in Canada and brought to market “a first of its kind innovation” in the mobile commerce space.
Smooth Commerce has launched a register with Visa Checkout option in its SmoothPay app, which “provides users with a streamlined sign-up process for mobile applications by leveraging their existing Visa Checkout profile – name, email address, payment information, and shipping address – to speed up registration”.
Brian Deck, CEO of Smooth Commerce, says “the Visa Developer Programme allowed us to conceptualise use cases that didn’t previously exist”.
