Redmayne-Bentley selects Vermilion for private client reporting
Vermilion signs new deal in the UK
Redmayne-Bentley, a private client investment management firm in the UK, is implementing new client reporting software, supplied by specialist vendor Vermilion Software.
Vermilion Reporting Suite (VRS) will be the firm’s new “prime communications platform”, the vendor says. It will enable Redmayne-Bentley to comply with client reporting requirements under the MiFID II regulations.
It was selected following “a rigorous market selection process”, Vermilion adds. Key to its success was “the knowledge imparted from senior members of its implementations team”.
James Andrews, head of investment management at Redmayne-Bentley, says the objective was to find a solution that could present information to its clients “in a comprehensive, accurate and timely fashion that is easily digestible and yet still personal”.
Redmayne-Bentley is one of the UK’s largest independently owned investment managers and stockbrokers. It manages £5.5 billion of client assets across 40 locations nationwide. Its history dates back to 1875.
Recently, Vermilion has struck a deal for its software to be implemented at Edinburgh-based equity firm Martin Currie. And earlier this year, it onboarded one of the largest investment managers in Australia, Challenger.
