DCI gains nine new iCore360 core banking system takers
Kansas-based banking software developer, Data Centre Inc (DCI), has onboarded nine new clients for its flagship iCore360 core banking system.
The new banks have joined over the last ten months, says the vendor.
These are:
- Oregon Pacific Bank, Oregon
- Star Bank, Minnesota
- First National Bank of Steeleville, Illinois
- Millennium Bank, Kansas
- First State Bank of Danville, Virginia
- Buckholts State Bank, Texas
- Tri-County Trust Company, Missouri
- State Bank of Danvers, Minnesota
- First National Bank of Blanchester, Ohio
DCI is one of the oldest banking software vendors in the US, with its history dating back to the early 1960s.
Its main offering is the .Net-based iCore360 core processing system, which has around 140 users. The vendor also provides a range of auxiliary solutions, including telephone, internet and mobile banking, teller, ATM card services, cheque processing, reporting, and image capture and processing.
The US core banking tech scene
Outside the “big four” core banking software vendors in the US – Jack Henry, D+H, FIS and Fiserv – there is a multitude of smaller players, old and new. Among them are:
Nymbus – the newest entrant. The Miami-based company launched its flagship product, the Smartcore banking system, last autumn. Smartcore is aimed at smaller credit unions and community banks in the US. Nymbus has since been busy acquiring fellow tech vendors, namely R. C. Olmstead (RCO), KMR and Sharp BancSystems (SBS).
California-based Corelation, set up in 2009 by John Landis, who helped to write the Episys core system (Episys now resides with Symitar/Jack Henry). Corelation’s flagship offering is Keystone, which has around 50 clients today in the US credit union space.
IBT in Texas, a long-standing supplier to small and medium-sized banks and credit unions in the US. Its system is known as i2Core.
