AlgoMe brings Tinder touch to asset management talent hunt
AlgoMe, a London-based start-up offering career development and job placements in asset management, has launched its beta phase.
The firm says it’s “rather like a dating app in that you get to determine if the match is right for you before your data is shared”.
The web and mobile-based membership community is led by CEO Rob Carter (formerly Aberdeen Asset Management) and COO Luuk Jacobs (previously at Aviva Investors).
AlgoMe says it is focused on asset management for now, with unspecified plans to expand to the wider financial services industry. It will be launching fully in spring 2017 in the UK and Europe.
Carter says it will be able to “engage directly with professionals to find the right individual at the right time”.
People can pre-register now and will be able to create a free profile to match with jobs across a number of sectors; as well as direct questions to experienced professionals. HR managers and project leaders can also share job opportunities.
